How this Journey Started?
After the proclamation of revered saints, the nationwide creative Goseva Maha Abhiyaan commenced on 17 September 1993 from Anandavan Pathmeda, the sacred land of Dwarka, India. The journey was extremely challenging from the very beginning. On the same day, 22 Vedalakshana Gomata being transported to a slaughterhouse in Gujarat via National Highways 15 and 8, and 8 Savatsa Gomata being taken toward the Pakistan border, were rescued from smugglers by the guardians of Sanchore and brought to this holy land.
At the request of local Gomata devotees and with the blessings of revered Brahmarshi Shri Magaramji Rajguru and revered Shri Gotrashiji, the foundation of this sacred concept was formally inaugurated with the arrival of these Vedalakshana Gomata. During the holy Vedalakshana Gogeeta Jayanti Festival of 1993, this Goseva project was named “Shri Godham Mahatirtha Anandavan Pathmeda” by the Goshti and revered Goseva-premi saints.
Pujya Gomata is a source of immense strength and is believed to possess medicinal properties capable of neutralizing toxins in the universe. According to natural science and traditional belief, a single Vedalakshana Gomata can nourish millions of living beings due to the vital and life-sustaining elements she provides, which help cure various diseases. Because of her nourishing and enriching nature, Gomata has been revered as a Mother Goddess in the Apaurusheya Vedas and Indian culture.
Even today in India, inspired by compassion and devotion, the sacred work of protecting and serving Gomata is being carried out by revered saints. Across the country, thousands of Goseva ashrams provide shelter to different breeds of Gomata. While Goseva is performed in these ashrams with deep reverence and faith, the overall protection remains limited. At the same time, neglect, exploitation, and slaughter of Gomata continue on a large scale, driven by excessive industrial greed, economic pressure, and human selfishness.
Religious institutions are able to protect barely 5% of Gomata, while the remaining 95% fall victim to economic exploitation and cruelty. If this massive destruction continues, it will lead to irreversible social, environmental, and spiritual damage. To prevent this tragedy, complete and organized protection of Gomata is essential. For this very reason, a revolutionary Goseva Mahabhiyan is not just important—it is necessary.
Anandavan Pathmeda is a sacred and captivating land, deeply connected to Lord Krishna. It is believed that during the holy months of Shravan and Bhadrapada, Lord Krishna halted here while traveling from Kurukshetra to Dwarka and brought with Him the most milch, courageous, gentle, and Brahma-svarupa Vedalakshana Gomata from Vrindavan for grazing and free movement. Moved by the suffering of Gomata and guided by saintly compassion, this nationwide creative Goseva Mahabhiyan took form on the holy soil of Shri Godham Mahatirtha Anandavan Pathmeda.
We sincerely invite you to join this sacred mission. Your support and participation can help protect Gomata and ensure the successful continuation of this noble campaign.

Our Work
Through Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda, protection, shelter, nourishment, and medical care are provided to abandoned, distressed, and ill-treated Gomata through Goseva ashrams and other charitable initiatives operating across various regions of the country, including Rajasthan and Gujarat.
To strengthen and expand this service, Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda Lokpunyartha Nyas was formally established on 7 April 2017 under the guidance and blessings of revered Gotrishi Swami Shri Dattasharnanandji. Through this trust, multiple projects dedicated to the protection, care, and welfare of Gomata are actively being carried out, with a continued commitment to compassion, sustainability, and service to all living beings.

Gosanrakshan and Gosamvardhan
One of our primary objectives is to create widespread awareness about Vedalakshana Gomata and their vital role in spiritual, environmental, and social well-being. Through the Gosamvardhan Abhiyan, we promote and revive indigenous cattle breeds by integrating traditional knowledge with modern communication methods, while remaining fully committed to the protection, care, and holistic nurturing of Gomata affected by human neglect.

Gomay Khad Utpadan
Vedic Go Utpad Foundation : Various products produced from Gomata are also very important in modern agriculture through which chemical fertilizers and pesticides are made to help farmers. The land is now no longer cultivable due to the high use of DAP and urea. Such wasteland is also being made fertile with Vedalakshana Gomata manure and is being made beneficial for both Gomata and Gomata farmers.

Panchgavya Parishkaran and Viniyog
Our objective is to ensure that every citizen has access to pure, high-quality products derived from Gomata. Under this initiative, organic manure prepared from Gomata dung is produced and supplied to Gopalak farmers in nearby villages to support natural and sustainable food cultivation. In today’s environment, where food, water, and air are increasingly contaminated, the rise of lifestyle and chronic diseases has become common. To address this, Panchgavya-based medicines are prepared using Gomata urine, dung, and ghee, and are made available at affordable prices for public benefit. In addition, wholesome and nutritious biscuits and sweets are prepared from Gomata milk and ghee, promoting health while preserving traditional practices.

Gosanrakshan and Gosamvardhan
Across all major gaushalas established and managed by Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda, a dedicated and compassionate healthcare unit known as “Shri Dhanvantari Gochikitsalay” operates as a vital service initiative. Here, every Gomata first undergoes thorough medical examination and initial treatment. Based on their health condition—whether critically helpless, ill, injured, or elderly—they are then carefully shifted to specialized care sections. The Gomata remain under continuous medical supervision at the Dhanvantari Gochikitsalay until they achieve complete recovery and stability.
